New Honda Cars Find 2010- 2011

The 2010 Honda is one of the most fuel-efficient cars on the market. With its latest model, Honda continues to maintain its position as a leader of fuel economy. Both the hybrid and standard models of the latest Civic have been tested and evaluated, and while the hybrid offers outstanding gas mileage, the standard model is still a competitive sedan in terms of fuel consumption.

The hybrid model of the 2010 Civic was put to test on the road in both highway and city driving. On the highway, the vehicle averaged forty-five miles per gallon. On city streets, the car yielded an average of forty miles per gallon. This superior gas mileage will result in nearly 600 miles per gallon on a single tank. The hybrid model is sold at a higher price, but will result in greater savings in gas in the long run.

The standard model of the 2010 Honda Civic also offers competitive gas mileage for a sedan. On the highway, the manual transmission model averaged thirty-four miles per gallon and twenty-six miles per gallon on city streets. The difference between the manual and automatic transmission is almost negligible. The automatic transmission model averages thirty-six miles per gallon on the highway and twenty-five miles per gallon in the city. From this data, the non-hybrid model will still result in an average of 315 to 475 miles per gallon of gas in just one tank.

Honda continues to be a leader of fuel efficiency in the second decade of the new millennium. If you are looking for a medium to compact car with a high miles-per-gallon ratio, look no further than the 2010 Civic.
